Lysa is a compassionate educator with a proven ability to maximize learning through strong relationships and purposely planning. With over 20 years of experience teaching young, multicultural learners, Lysa is a wealth of Montessori knowledge. Dedicated to supporting the whole child, Lysa is guided by her love of helping young children thrive and reach their full potential.

Well-known and respected in the Montessori community, Lysa earned her master’s degree in early childhood education from Xavier University, her American Montessori Society (AMS) credentials from birth to six. Lysa’s teaching philosophy has been molded by experiences growing up in Swaziland, South Africa, and Taiwan and attending international schools through her life. These rich and diverse experiences led to her teaching in Taiwan and in the United States. Most recently, Lysa has been focused on assisting parents in fostering a life-long love of learning in their children and guiding new teacher educators.

In addition to her consulting role, Lysa is currently an Instructional guide, field consultant and Practicum coordinator at a Montessori teacher training program. Passionate about fostering a love for learning and supporting holistic child development, Lysa continues to make meaningful contributions to the field of education, embodying the values of compassion, dedication, and innovation.
